Meet Dr. Khan

"Although I was born in the windy city of Chicago, I was raised in the warm south and have lived in Houston for several years. My number one goal as your orthodontist is to provide you with a gorgeous and healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Technology has evolved quite a bit over the past decade and I have made sure to stay up to date and utilize these advanced techniques so your experience is as esthetic, comfortable, and efficient as possible. I look forward to being of service to you and giving you that picture perfect smile!"

Education

Dr. Khan has been fortunate to find academic success throughout his life and uses this same drive for perfection to give his patients the beautiful, confident smiles they deserve.

After graduating as salutatorian of his high school, Dr. Khan went on to graduate with honors in Chemistry from Furman University in Greenville, SC. He was immediately accepted into dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Khan was fortunate to continue his training at MUSC, his top choice for residency, where he studied an additional 3 years to become a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He was the sole recipient of the prestigious American Association of Orthodontists award of excellence in 2007. He focused his research on smile esthetics and is a published author in peer-reviewed journals.

Continuing Education and Professional Affiliations

The level of education that is required to be considered a "specialist" in orthodontics is undoubtedly several years of training focused exclusively on how to perfect the smile. But Dr. Khan is a strong believer that education is a life-long process and he is dedicated to the advancement of the orthodontic profession. In addition to attending numerous local and national meetings throughout the year, Dr. Khan is a member of several online communities, study clubs, and is constantly evolving his technique as technological advancements continue to make orthodontics more efficient and less painful. Dr. Khan has incorporated the use of mini-implants, lasers, and self-ligating brackets to ensure each and every one of his patients is benefitting from the most advanced technology available. Outside the office

Dr. Khan is married to his lovely wife Sophia who is a native of Katy, TX. She is a Katy ISD alum and Texas A&M graduate. Their growing family recently added a baby boy who is the center of their universe. In his free time, Dr. Khan enjoys skiing, traveling and trying out new restaurants.
